Bar Diamond is a family-owned company based near Parma, Idaho. Since beginning as a feed-testing laboratory in 1971, we have expanded into livestock consulting, research, rumen cannula manufacturing, rumen fluid products, and specialized laboratory services.
We serve universities, researchers, laboratories, veterinarians, livestock professionals, and animal science organizations throughout the United States and around the world.
Built Through Research, Service, and Practical Experience
Bar Diamond grew from a small feed-testing laboratory into a specialized supplier serving the animal science and livestock industries. Each part of the company developed from hands-on work in laboratory testing, nutrition, research, and livestock management.
Bar Diamond Opens
Bar Diamond began as a feed-testing laboratory operating from two rooms in an old farmhouse near Parma, Idaho.

Cannula Manufacturing Begins
Bar Diamond began manufacturing rumen cannulae in the family garage before moving production into a dedicated building.

The company operated a 48-head, individually fed research center focused on metabolic and digestion measurements.
